VIP Experience Competition Winner

Wednesday 29th August. An ordinary day for some, but not for Samantha Jones! The lucky winner of Filmlounge.com’s VIP Experience giveaway, who along with a friend got the opportunity to meet and gossip with Martin Freeman himself. Here’s what she had to say about the occasion…

What did you think of the experience?
It was a great good opportunity and really surreal. He came in and introduced himself as Martin and I just squealed and said “I know who you are!” We saw him recording lines for the animated film Saving Santa. It was funny because they recorded the lines 4 months ago, but he’s been in New Zealand filming the Hobbit, so today was the only day they could go over what the missed before he flies back out.
What was Martin like?
He was really friendly and down to earth, but a bit shorter than I expected him to be. I don’t want to sound like a creepy stalker, but he smelled nice too!
What did you talk about?
The Hobbit! It’s now going to be split into three films and I felt like I was getting the inside scoop hearing it directly from Martin. We talked a lot about his role in Sherlock, there’s a new season coming out. I’m so excited about that! We also talked about Saving Santa, I’m really looking forward to that coming out as Martin told us all about the plot and story line!
After this experience would you buy a Film Lounge VIP membership?
Absolutely. There’s nothing more to it, it was just the best! I’m even getting a copy of the script for Saving Santa signed and sent out to me, thanks so much!
